LEXINGTON, K.Y. - On Wednesday, August 13, around 12:40 p.m., Lexington Police responded to reports of an assault at the intersection of Short Street and North Upper Street in the downtown district. The attack has prompted city officials to announce new security measures for the downtown area.

Savannah, G.A. – Chaos unfolded Wednesday evening at Oglethorpe Mall after a shooting left at least five people injured and sparked a massive emergency response.

A security officer was involved in the fatal shooting of a knife-wielding shoplifting suspect at the H-E-B grocery store located in northeast Austin on Friday, Austin Police say.

The City of Somerville in Massachusetts is currently in the process of interviewing private security companies in the wake of “dozens” of incidents, some violent in nature, involving dangerous and reckless behavior by teenagers frequenting the public library.
